Original - Gnome 'Manfred Messicolour'
Original Watercolour Painting
Watercolour on 320g D'Arches paper
Manfred the great whistler and lousy painter. He whistled like the birds did, and they answered him. At least this was the impression one got listening to them. It sounded beautiful. When people heard it, they said: Listen, how the birds talk with each other, not knowing that one of them was a little, funny looking Gnome named Manfred. Manfred was a snob and very proud of his ancestry because he thought that they reached as far back as the Stone Ages, when the Gnomes were immigrating into the Pitztal, to Mandarfen. This got him into a dilemma, because he spoke with a bad accent, and being a Snob it just did not work together. But, he loves life, and whistling, and painting.
